These Terms govern the use of wovenlegacy.in and all orders placed with Woven Legacy.

Business Identity

Woven Legacy is the trade name of Shreyansh Jain, a proprietorship registered under GSTIN 09CFLPJ8715H1Z1.

Eligibility

Customers must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and must provide accurate and complete information.

The website must not be used for fraudulent, unlawful or unauthorised purposes.

Made-to-Order Products

Woven Legacy does not ordinarily maintain ready stock. Every rug is produced according to confirmed requirements.

Product specifications may include:

• Design
• Size
• Shape
• Colour
• Material
• Construction
• Texture
• Pile height
• Finishing
• Quantity

Product Information

Reasonable efforts are made to present descriptions, colours, materials and dimensions accurately.

However:

• Screen colours may differ from actual colours.
• Photography and lighting may affect appearance.
• Samples may vary slightly from full-scale production.
• Handmade rugs may contain natural variations.
• Dimensions may carry reasonable handmade tolerances.
• Pile direction may affect the appearance of colour and texture.

Customer Approval

The customer is responsible for reviewing and approving:

• Measurements
• Design
• Shape
• Colours
• Materials
• Construction
• Orientation
• Artwork
• Samples
• Quotation
• Final written specifications

Approval given through email, WhatsApp, a signed document or another written communication may be treated as final approval.

Customer-Supplied Measurements

Woven Legacy is not responsible for incorrect dimensions, access problems or suitability issues resulting from measurements or information supplied by the customer.

Where measurement services are not expressly included, customers should obtain professional measurements before confirming an order.

Pricing

Prices are stated in Indian Rupees unless communicated otherwise.

Taxes, shipping, handling, installation, customs duties and other applicable charges may be calculated or communicated separately.

Pricing or listing errors may be corrected before production or fulfilment.

Order Acceptance

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase.

Woven Legacy may decline or cancel an order because of:

• Payment failure
• Material unavailability
• Pricing or specification errors
• Delivery restrictions
• Suspected fraud
• Incomplete information
• Inability to fulfil the requested design
• Circumstances beyond reasonable control

Where Woven Legacy cancels an eligible prepaid order, the applicable amount will be refunded.

Payments

Orders may require full payment or an advance before production begins.

Where instalments are agreed, the remaining amount must be paid according to the agreed schedule. Dispatch may be withheld until all outstanding amounts are received.

Changes and Cancellations

Changes or cancellations are permitted only before production or procurement begins and require written confirmation from Woven Legacy.

Once materials have been procured or production has begun, the order cannot ordinarily be cancelled.

Intellectual Property

All website and brand content, including rug designs, product names, photographs, videos, artwork, catalogues, graphics, copy and logos, is owned by or licensed to Woven Legacy.

It may not be copied, reproduced, adapted, distributed or used commercially without written permission.

Customer-Supplied Designs

By submitting artwork, designs or references, the customer confirms that they own the material or have permission to use it.

The customer will be responsible for claims arising from unauthorised third-party intellectual-property material supplied by them.

Product Care

Customers must follow the care instructions provided by Woven Legacy.

Woven Legacy is not responsible for damage caused by:

• Incorrect washing or cleaning
• Harsh chemicals
• Excessive moisture
• Unsuitable steam cleaning
• Direct or prolonged sunlight
• Improper storage
• Furniture movement
• Pet damage
• Incorrect vacuuming
• Unauthorised repairs
• Cutting or alteration
• Improper installation or handling

Website Use

Customers must not:

• Attempt unauthorised access.
• Introduce viruses or malicious code.
• Scrape content without permission.
• Misrepresent their identity.
• Submit fraudulent orders or claims.
• Infringe intellectual-property rights.
• Interfere with website operation.

Reviews and Customer Content

By submitting a review, photograph or testimonial, the customer grants Woven Legacy permission to use it for business and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers must not submit unlawful, misleading, defamatory or infringing content.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Woven Legacy will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the website or product.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Force Majeure

Woven Legacy will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, fire, strikes, war, governmental restrictions, epidemics, internet failures, material shortages or transportation disruption.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable consumer rights and jurisdictional law, disputes will be subject to the competent courts of Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh.
